Because every step is done by hand, no two pieces are 100% identical. Slight natural variations in the casting, finish, and surface texture are part of what makes each sculpture genuinely unique — and genuinely authentic. This is not a mass-produced product. It never has been.

Production process
How your sculpture comes to life
Allow 3+ weeks — the more time, the better
Each piece is made entirely by hand. Graeme works on one order at a time and gives every sculpture the attention it deserves. The more lead time you can give him, the more relaxed and enjoyable the process is for everyone. If you have a specific date in mind — a retirement function, a presentation evening — please order as early as possible.

Graeme personally reviews every order and gets in touch to confirm the details — sculpture, base type, engraving text, and delivery address. This is your chance to clarify anything.

Once payment is received and cleared, Graeme schedules your piece into his workbench. No work begins before payment — this protects both of you.

Hand casting begins
Graeme pours molten tin alloy into the mould by hand, then removes, cleans, and begins the finishing process. This is the most skilled and time-intensive part of the work.

Finishing & engraving
The sculpture is hand-finished to a classic pewter tone and any personalised engraving or sublimation printing is applied to the gold or silver plate on the base.

Quality check & packaging
Graeme inspects every piece personally before it leaves. Once he is satisfied, it is carefully packaged for safe transit.

Before shipping, Graeme will contact you to let you know your sculpture is complete and on its way. Then it's handed to CourierPost for delivery.

Before shipping, Graeme personally reaches out — by phone, text, or email — to let you know your sculpture is complete and ready to go.

Dispatched via CourierPost
Your parcel is collected and scanned into the CourierPost tracked network.
Step 03
Tracking link emailed to you
As soon as the parcel is scanned, a tracking link is sent to your email address so you can follow progress in real time.
Step 04
Delivered to your door
CourierPost will deliver to your nominated address. If you're not home, they'll leave a card with redelivery or pickup options.

Four weeks is possible but tight. Graeme aims to produce each piece within three weeks of payment clearing, but this can vary depending on current orders. If you have a fixed date, please place your order as early as you can and mention the occasion in your order notes — Graeme will let you know if the timing works.
Very closely, yes — but because every piece is hand-cast, there will be subtle natural variations in the finish and texture. These are the marks of a handmade piece, not defects. Each sculpture is inspected by Graeme personally before it leaves him. If there's ever a quality concern, he will contact you directly.
You're welcome to ask — contact Graeme directly and explain your situation. He always does his best. However, because the work is entirely done by hand we ask that you give him as much time as possible. Rushing a handcrafted piece is never ideal, and Graeme's standard is too high to compromise on quality.
Please photograph the packaging and the damage immediately and contact Graeme. Every order is carefully packed to protect against transit damage, but if something does go wrong he will work with you to find a solution. Do not discard any packaging until the matter is resolved.
Yes — just enter the delivery address you'd like when you check out. You can ship to a fire station, police station, or any other address. If it's a surprise for someone, you can add a note to your order and Graeme will make sure everything is handled discreetly.
